Macedonia ranked 38th on UEFA ranking

With 5.831 points, Macedonia is on the 38th position of the new association's coefficient ranking list by UEFA. The ranking list is based on performance over the five previous seasons – between 2002/03 and 2006/07 – and will be used to determine entry into the 2008/09 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup.

Hosting Bolton = year’s budget

The calculations are already made. Hosting an English Premiership club like Bolton in an UEFA Cup match will bring Rabotnicki Kometal amount of money that’s almost equal with their budget for whole year. The final outcome with Bolton may not be well for the Macedonian side, but the income will definitely be more than satisfying.

Rabotnicki: Mission UEFA cup

  Thursday 30th August 2007 20:30 on 'Bijeli Breg' stadium in Mostar, Rabotnicki will meet Zrinjski in the second qualifying round from UEFA cup. Having drawn the first leg with scoreless result in the end, Rabotniki will have to score at least one goal.

Disappointing performance by Rabotnicki

The football players of Rabotnicki Kometal had one very disappointing performance in the first match of the UEFA Cup 2nd qualification round and only drew 0:0 against the Bosnian side Zrinjski. Now they will have to hope on better match and good result on the rematch in Mostar in two weeks.

Rabotnicki qualify, Vardar eliminated

Rabotnicki Kometal qualified for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup after another 2:1 win over the Slovenian club Hit Gorica. Vardar were eliminated on Cyprus by Anorthosis Famagusta with another 1:0 defeat. In the next round Rabotnicki will face Partizan from Belgrade or the Bosnian Zrinjski.

Pobeda eliminated

Macedonia will be without representative in the European Champions League after the elimination of the Macedonian champion Pobeda from Prilep. In the second match away to the Estonian Levadia from Tallinn, Pobeda only drew 0:0 and Levadia qualified for the next stage after the 0:1 win in Prilep.
