Makedonija GP eliminated
Makedonija GP confirmed their elimination from the UEFA Intertoto Cup with another defeat in the second leg match against Cherno More Varna from Bulgaria. The Bulgarian club won with 3:0 and with the 7:0 on aggregate score, Makedonija GP finished their European excursion for this season.
Lions draw with Fawkner
Macedonian Australian football club, Preston Lions played the Fawkner Blues, which ended in a 1-1 draw this weekend. Next Sunday the Lions will take on fellow Macedonians, Altona Magic FC in round 18 of the Foxtel Cup. With this draw, the Lions have kept the unbeaten run and the lead.

Press release from UEFA: UEFA, together with world football's governing body FIFA, have been satisfied by recent developments relating to the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) which have restored statutory legality to the national association.
Macedonia avoids suspension
Macedonian football avoids isolation and suspension by FIFA and UEFA. The old president of the Macedonian Football Federation was allowed to return in the federation only an hour before the FIFA Emergency Committee discussion for sanctions on Macedonian football because of the dual leadership in FFM.
Noveski stays in Mainz
Nikolce Noveski, one of the best Macedonian defenders has decided to sign new contract with the German club Mainz although he had many offers from other bigger clubs from Germany and England. The 28 years old defender has signed new 3 years long contract and will stay in Mainz until 2010.
FIFA and UEFA mediate in FFM’s rift
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski embarked upon a mediation mission to bridge the differences in the long-standing rift in Macedonian Football Federation. Early on Friday, Gruevski met with the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation and a member of the FIFA Association Committee, Grigory Surkis for talks on the perspective of the Macedonian football.
