The football players of Rabotnicki Kometal had one very disappointing performance in the first match of the UEFA Cup 2nd qualification round and only drew 0:0 against the Bosnian side Zrinjski. Now they will have to hope on better match and good result on the rematch in Mostar in two weeks.

The football fans on the "Gradski" stadium in Skopje were very dissapointed by Rabotnicki for not converting pressure into goals against ten-man Zrinjski. Nemanja Milisavljević missed the first chance of the match two minutes before the break when he blazed over from five meters and on the stroke of half-time Ivan Trickovski hit the bar after defender Lukmon Adekunle's long throw caused havoc in the visitors' defense. Trickovski then fired wide from close range on the hour shortly before Zrinjski midfielder Goran Jurić was sent off.

Rabotnicki Kometal were seen as big favorites for this clash by all football fans and also the bookmakers and the bettors around the world. The odds for Rabotnicki's win were dropping all the time as bettors staked their money on the home win. But only on couple of hours before the match the odds for Rabotnicki rapidly started to grow and the opposite odds to drop. Let's just hope that the surprising outcome of todays match is not connected with the strange odds movement and the big amount of money staked on this match. No Macedonian football fan would like to see again the "Pobeda-Pyunik" scenario, especially not by Rabotnicki – probably the most profesional Macedonian football club.
