After reviewing the performances of Macedonian football players over the month of August, we put a list of the best starting 11 during that span. We compiled stats such as games played, goals, assists, and clean sheets to decide which players deserved to be on the team.

Defenders Goran Popov and Daniel Mojsov each scored their first goal of the season for their respective clubs, Slavco Georgievski and Armend Alimi also found the back of the net, Darko Tasevski provided two assists for Levski, while Ilija Nestorovski also had an assist for Viktoria Žižkov.
Macedonian Second League – Round 4
Seven out of the eight games this round ended with the home teams notching victories. The biggest game took place in Kavadarci where Tikves recorded a minimal victory over Pelister in a match of two teams that are expected to fight for promotion this season. Belasica managed to only draw against Vlazrimi after leading 2:0

Another Macedonian international found the back of the net this weekend as Goran Popov was on target for Dynamo Kyiv.
Pandev officially presented as Napoli player
Goran Pandev was greeted warmly by the Napoli fans during today’s presentation of the team in front of 60,000 fans.

Both Metalurg and Vardar noted wins today, so the battle for first place remained unchanged.
