Kirovski celebrates his goal with the Apollon fans; photo: 24sports.com.cyHristijan Kirovski was on target for Apollon to hand Cedomir Janevski a loss in his debut as Ethnikos Achnas manager, Ilco Naumoski scored his first two goals of the season for Mattersburg, while Stevica Ristić and Suwon lost the domestic cup final in South Korea against Seongnam.

Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Parma 1:2
Goran Pandev did not make the Napoli squad due to a muscle strain injury.  Napoli is considered one of the main title contenders so this was a bad home loss against Parma to drop three points.

Italy, Serie B, Crotone – Gubbio 2:1
Stefan Ristovski was not called up by Crotone because of an injury.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Mainz 05 – Augsburg 0:1
Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who suffered a disappointing home loss by conceding the only goal of the game in the 88th minute from a penalty.  Noveski had a chance in the 55th minute with a header from a corner kick but his effort went wide of the goal.  He also received a yellow card in the 58th minute for a bad foul.  With the win, Augsburg recorded their first victory of the season as they needed a late penalty in this game to notch three valuable points.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Dynamo Kyiv – Volyn Lutsk 2:1
Goran Popov started at LB and played all 90 minutes for Dynamo Kyiv while Vance Sikov did not play for Volyn Lutsk because of a yellow cards suspension.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Karpaty – Arsenal Kyiv 0:3
Martin Bogatinov was not called up by Karpaty as Andriy Tlumak started in goal while Oleksandr Ilyuschenkov was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Metalurh Donetsk – Kryvbas 1:0
Mario Gjurovski was not among the 18 players called up by Metalurh Donetsk.

Ukraine, Persha Liha, Metalurh Zaporizhya – Sevastopol 1:0
Besart Ibraimi did not make the Sevastopol squad because of an injury.  The home side scored the lone goal in the 90th minute to collect all three points.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Zulte Waregem – Lierse 1:2
Aleksandar Trajkovski started for Zulte Waregem and played until the 73rd minute when he was replaced by Jérémy Serwy while Boban Grncarov played the entire game for Lierse.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Sint-Truiden – Beerschot 2:4
Tome Pacovski was an unused substitute for Beerschot as he was the #2 keeper behind Stijn Stijnen.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, APOEL – AEL Limassol 0:1
Ivan Trickovski started on the bench for APOEL before he entered the game in the 58th minute replacing Esteban Solari.  Trickovski attempted several shots during his time on the field but came closest in the 75th minute when his shot was saved by the opposing keeper.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Apollon – Ethnikos Achnas 2:0
Hristijan Kirovski played all 90 minutes for Apollon and played a big part in the win with a goal but he also had another goal wrongly disallowed for offside.  Just before halftime, Kirovski scored from close range but the assistant referee ruled offside.  Replays clearly showed that Kirovski was just onside but that mistake did not prove decisive since Apollon recorded a comfortable victory.  Then, in the 65th minute, Kirovski capitalized on a mistake by Ethnikos Achnas player Abdelkarim Kissi to score an easy goal from close range.  As for Ethnikos Achnas, Edin Nuredinoski played from the start and conceded two goals while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov was not called up because of an injury.  This was the first game for Ethnikos Achnas under new manager Cedomir Janevski.

Bojan Markoski played the entire game for Enosis Neon Paralimni and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet while his teammate Petar Milosevski was an unused substitute as he was the #2 keeper behind Bulgarian Georgi Petkov.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Ermis – Alki 1:1
Nikola Gligorov was an unused substitute for Alki.

Switzerland, Schweizer Cup, St. Gallen – Thun 2:0
Muhamed Demiri played all 90 minutes for Thun who was eliminated from the Swiss Cup with the loss to second division side St. Gallen.

Switzerland, Schweizer Cup, Aarau – Zürich 1:3
Aco Stojkov started on the bench for Aarau before he entered the game in the 74th minute replacing Artur Ioniţă.  Moments later, Stojkov had a brief chance but his header went wide of the goal as Aarau was eliminated from the Swiss Cup with the loss to Zürich.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Sibir – Gazovik 1:0
Velice Sumulikoski started for Sibir and played the first 45 minutes before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Tomáš Čížek.  As a matter of fact, Čížek scored the only goal of the game in the 88th minute to hand Sibir a narrow victory.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Volgar-Gazprom – Torpedo Moskva 0:0
Artim Polozani was not called up by Torpedo Moskva nor was fellow Macedonian Nikola Tonev for Volgar-Gazprom.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – Sturm Graz 3:3
Ilco Naumoski played the entire game for Mattersburg and scored his first two goals of the season.  Naumoski opened the scoring in the 2nd minute from a rebound opportunity after the shot by his teammate Wilfried Domoraud was initially saved by the keeper.  The rebound fell perfectly for Naumoski whose first shot was also saved but he scored on the next attempt past the opposing keeper.  Then, in the fourth minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute, with Mattersburg losing 2:3, Naumoski was in the right place at the right time and scored a goal from close range to win his club a point against the defending Austrian champions.

South Korea, K-League Cup, Seongnam – Suwon 1:0
Stevica Ristić played all 90 minutes for Suwon who lost the domestic cup final in South Korea against Seongnam and Sasa Ognenovski, an Australian of Macedonian origin.  Seongnam scored the lone goal in the 77th minute as Suwon also finished the game with ten men after one of their players received a red card in the 90th minute.  The red card came for arguing with the referee after Ristić went down in the box.  Suwon wanted a penalty but the referee waved play on and he was then surrounded by several Suwon players which led to the red card for aggressive behavior.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Polonia Warszawa – Górnik Zabrze 1:1
Aleksandar Todorovski started at RB and played the entire game for Polonia Warszawa who conceded the equalizing goal in the 90th minute to settle for a point.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, GKS Bełchatów – Śląsk Wrocław 3:0
Zlatko Tanevski showed his versatility for GKS Bełchatów as he started at left-back and played all 90 minutes.  He has now played RB, CB, and LB during his time with the Polish club.  As for this game, GKS Bełchatów cruised to a comfortable and deserving 3:0 victory over Śląsk Wrocław as Tanevski also picked up a yellow card in the 41st minute.

Poland, Unibet 1. Liga, Arka Gdynia – KS Polkowice 2:1
Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench for Arka before he entered the game in the 79th minute replacing Janusz Surdykowski.  Ivanovski made a nice run in the 90th minute before setting up his teammate Tomasz Jarzębowski whose shot from distance went just wide of the goal.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Partizan – Spartak Zlatibor Voda 2:0
Aleksandar Lazevski was not called up by Partizan as he was given a rest after being on international break with Macedonia while Fahrudin Gjurgjević started on the bench for Spartak Zlatibor Voda before he entered the game in the 86th minute replacing Borko Novaković.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Rad – Vojvodina 1:1
Daniel Mojsov played all 90 minutes for Vojvodina and also received a yellow card in the 84th minute.  He was given the nod at starter despite the manager being under pressure to drop Mojsov for the mistakes against Partizan in the last league game.

Stefan Spirovski started on the bench for Borac Čačak before he entered the game in the 60th minute replacing Dušan Martinović.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Metalac – Crvena Zvezda 0:5
Neither Gjorgi Mojsov nor Nikola Karcev played for Metalac who suffered a heavy home defeat against Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Jagodina – Javor 1:0
Dragan Stojkov began the game on the bench for Jagodina before he came on in the 50th minute replacing Aleksandar Stojković.  For Javor, Nikola Jakimovski returned from his red card suspension and got the start before he was substituted in the 74th minute by Branislav Čonka.

France, Ligue 2, Arles – Amiens 1:1
Vlade Lazarevski was not called up by Amiens.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus liga, Sigma Olomouc – Mladá Boleslav 1:1
Vladimir Dimitrovski was an unused substitute for Mladá Boleslav.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Šibenik – Cibalia 3:0
Daniel Georgievski was not called up by Šibenik because of an injury while his teammate Zeni Husmani got the start and played until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Marko Čulić.  Husmani attempted a shot in the 63rd minute but the Cibalia keeper was alert and made the save.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Istra 1961 – Zagreb 0:1
Armend Alimi played the entire game for Istra 1961 and came close to scoring in the 77th minute but his free kick went just wide of the goal.  Zagreb recorded the minimal victory by scoring the lone goal of the game in the 89th minute.

Neither Goran Todorcev nor Goran Gancev played for Inter Zaprešic.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Domžale – Maribor 1:4
Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Matic Črnic.  Ibraimi played a part in the third goal for Maribor in the 64th minute when his cross from the left got a piece of his teammate Dalibor Volaš before it fell perfectly for Dejan Mezga who scored past the opposing keeper with a good finish to the top right corner.

Slovakia, Corgon Liga, Košice – Žilina 1:2
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded two goals.  On the first goal, Tofiloski saved a shot from the edge of the area but a Žilina played scored on the rebound while the second goal came on a well placed shot to the bottom left corner past the diving Tofiloski.

Denmark, Superliga, Lyngby – Silkeborg 2:3
Bajram Fetai was not among the 18 players called up by Lyngby.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Kerkyra – Atromitos 2:2
Goran Maznov began the game on the bench for Kerkyra before he came on in the 83rd minute replacing Anestis Agritis.

Marjan Altiparmakovski was not called up by Skoda Xanthi.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Chernomorets – Levski 2:0
Darko Tasevski played all 90 minutes for Levski who suffered their second consecutive road loss to fall seven points behind the table leaders Ludogorets.

Dragi Kocev started on the bench for Lokomotiv Plovdiv before he entered the game in the 52nd minute replacing Jérémie Rodrigues.

Samir Fazli was not called up by Heerenveen while Dzelil Abdulla was an unused substitute for De Graafschap.
