Macedonia concluded the EURO 2012 qualifications with a 1:1 draw at home against Slovakia. The visitors opened the scoring in the 54th minute after a huge misunderstanding between Vance Sikov and Martin Bogatinov but Nikolce Noveski scored the equalizer for Macedonia with a header following a corner kick in the 79th minute.
