This game took place as part of the NextGen series.  Barcelona U19 dominated the match over their counterparts from Manchester City and recorded a comfortable 4:1 victory.  David Babunski started for Barcelona U19 and played all 90 minutes in the win.  David played a part in the fourth and final goal for Barcelona in the 85th minute with a nice backheel pass which ultimately led to a goal.

Both John Toshack and Boban Babunski, David’s father, were in attendance as the match was played in Barcelona.  Keep in mind that both Toshack and the Babunski family live in Barcelona so they attended the game to scout and watch the development of David Babunski.  David had a solid game but will now turn his attention to the Macedonian U19 national team.  He left Barcelona today to join up with the Macedonian U19 team in anticipation for the three upcoming qualifiers against Switzerland, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan which will be played in the span of six days from 10 to 15 November.
