Rabotnicki lost with 2:0 from Liverpool, while Teteks suffered a real disaster in Sweden losing 5:0 from Elfsborg in the 3rd qualification round of the UEFA Europa League.

In front od nearly 21.000 spectators at the National Arena Philip II of Macedon in Skopje, Rabotnicki failed to make a surprise and lost with 2:0 from one of the biggest world clubs, Liverpool. The Reds from Anfield put a team without the major stars, but still made a comfortable win against the club Hero from Debar Maalo. David N’Gog scored for 1:0 in the 17th minute after the terrible missunderstanding between the defender Egzon Belica and the goalkeeper Martin Bogatinov. Rabotnicki never realy made a good chance, just some low shots. In the second half, N’Gog again scored for 2:0, a result that happened to be final. If someone questioned Liverpool’s participation in the next round, now the Reds are already there because only a miracle on Anfield could turn the things round.

Earlier Teteks played it’s match away to Elfsborg in Sweden. The home team was leading with 1:0 after the first half thanks to the goal scored by Stefan Ishizaki in the 29th minute. In the second half, a real disaster for the club from Tetovo. The home fans enjoyed a goalsgalore match with only the Elfsborg players being on the scoresheet. Anders Svensson, Denni Avdić and substitutes James Keene and Daniel Nordmark scored four goals in a half hour. Now the return leg in Skopje will be just a formality for Elfsborg and a must play game for Teteks.
