Macedonian coach Stevica Kuzmanovski has been named the new manager of Serbian top division side OFK Beograd.
U19 Novigrad – Macedonia 0:4
The Macedonian U19 national team had a great start in the “Kvarnerska Rivijera” tournament with a 0:4 win over Novigrad.
Third League South – Round 28
Korzo defeated Sirkovo and returned to the top of the table, sending Kozhuf, who was idle in the round, to the second position on the standings.
Third League West – Round 28
The promotion battle continues between Vrapchiste and Rechica as Ljuboten suffered a home defeat to drop further back, while after the latest defeat against Vardari, Lirija is officially relegated.
Third League North – Round 30
Slavija and Drachevo shared the points in the local derby, as did Bashkimi and Madjari Solidarnost, who in 2005 played in the final of the Macedonian Cup.
Stojkov, Aarau stay in second league
Aco Stojkov and Aarau fell short of reaching the Swiss top division after losing 1:3 on aggregate to Sion in the promotion/relegation play-off.
Third League South-West – Round 32
Newly promoted Novaci destroyed Dobrushevo 8:0 to continue its great season, while Kravari, Rabotnik, Prespa and Lirija Zagrachani all collected wins as well.
Third League East – Round 26
The table leaders Bregalnica Delchevo was defeated by Plachkovica in Radovish, while Babi, with a win over last placed Karbinci, reduced the deficit at the top to just two points.
Macedonian internationals performances
Mario Gjurovski scored directly from a free kick for Muangthong United, while Aco Stojkov and Aarau lost the first leg of its promotion/relegation matchup against Sion.
Toshack announced starting lineup
Manager John Toshack announced the starting 11 that Macedonia will field in the friendly against Portugal, starting in less than an hour.
