After being eliminated from the ‘Kvarnerska Rivijera’, the Macedonian U19 national team took part in another tournament in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Right after ‘Kvarnerska Rivijera’, the Macedonian U19 national team took over Rabotnichki’s youth team place in another tournament, held in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  With several additions to the squad, such as Gjoko Zajkov and Mario Nastevski from Rabotnichki, the national team accomplished better results. 

In the opening game, Macedonia won convincingly against the hosts Sutjeska Foča.  Mirchevski, Ivanov and Karimani were on target in Macedonia’s 3:0 win against Sutjeska.

Macedonia played with the following line-up: Iliev, Toshevski (Georgievski), Nastevski, Zajkov, Acevski, Velkovski (Abazi), Murtikj (Kalanoski), Karimani (Skenderovikj), Mirchevski (Spirkoski).

In the semi-final match against Željezničar, penalty shoot out was needed to decide the winner.  It was scoreless after 90 minutes of regulation, so the match went into penalties.  Macedonia came out on top and prevailed 3:1 with penalties converted by Velkovski, Skenderovikj and Georgievski.

Macedonia played with the following line-up: Shishkovski, Toshevski (Petrov), Georgievski, Zajkov, Mirchevski (Ivanov), Abazi (Nastevski), Velkovski, Kalanoski, Zakirovski, Karimani (Noveski), Skenderovikj.

In the final, against Dinamo Zagreb, Macedonia forced another penalty shootout but fell short this time.  Dinamo won 3:0 on penalty kicks to claim the first place finish.

Macedonia played with the following line-up: Shishkovski, Mirchevski (Abazi), Velkovski, Kalanoski, Skenderovikj, Karimani, Zajkov (Georgievski), Acevski, Noveski, Ivanov, Djinov (Zakirovski), Petrov (Toshevski).

After the “Kvarnerska Rivijera” tournament, where Macedonia was the youngest team, the youth national side played with opponents of similar age in the tournament held in Bosnia-Herzegovia and displayed better performances and results.
