Ashkovski to train with Partizan

The 20-year-old Stefan Ashkovski will be one of five Teleoptik players who will begin the summer preparations training with the first team of Partizan, while Aleksandar Lazevski will be allowed to leave the club if a good offer comes in for his services.

Teleoptik is the reserve club to Partizan where the latter sends many of its younger players to gain experience.  Ashkovski, a left-back, played regularly for Teleoptik in the Serbian second division and his play also earned him a call up to the Macedonian U21 team by manager Boban Babunski.

The Partizan summer preparations begin on 11 June and the club’s manager Vladimir Vermezović expects to start with 35 players, including the five promoted youngsters from Teleoptik.  Another player on the list is Macedonian international Aleksandar Lazevski, although it is not a sure thing that he will remain with Partizan next season.

Partizan, through a press release, announced that Lazevski will be allowed to leave the club if a good offer comes in for his services.  The manager is expected to start Ivan Ivanov at left CB and Vladimir Volkov at LB on the left side of the defense, so that leaves Lazevski as a backup at this point.  That is not desirable for either side so Lazevski could look to join another team in the summer.
