Metalurg has parted ways with manager Zikica Tasevski with former Macedonian international Gjorgji Hristov being named as his replacement.

Goran Pandev and Agim Ibraimi will not travel to Yerevan due to injuries, so manager John Toshack called up Mario Gjurovski to the national team.

Player of the month for September – Ivan Trickovski
No Macedonian player had gaudy numbers in September but the choice came down to three players in Ivan Trickovski, Boban Grncarov, and Aleksandar Todorovski. We chose Trickovski as he played regularly for APOEL and scored an important goal in the Champions League.

Another subpar showing by Goran Pandev
Goran Pandev started for Napoli and played until the 51st minute when he was substituted after being ineffective yet again during his time on the field against former club Inter.
Lazevski got the better of Mojsov
Daniel Mojsov did not have a good game for Vojvodina as he made two errors that cost his team two goals against Partizan who also featured a Macedonian in Aleksandar Lazevski.
