Macedonian internationals performances

Agim Ibraimi (R) during the game; photo: siol.netAgim Ibraimi scored a goal for Maribor against his former club Olimpija, Stevica Ristić concluded a successful stint with Suwon by scoring another goal in the final league game of the season, while Mirko Ivanovski found the back of the net for Arka.

Italy, Serie A, Catania – Napoli 2:1
Goran Pandev did not make the Napoli squad because of an injury as his side suffered a disappointing road loss against Catania to drop three points.  The next game for Napoli is on Wednesday when they travel to Germany to take on Bayern München in the Champions League.  It should be known over the next two days whether Pandev will be able to recover from his muscle strain injury in time for the important clash against Bayern München.

Italy, Campionato Primavera, Crotone Primavera – Ascoli Primavera 2:1
Stefan Ristovski started for the Crotone Primavera team and played until the 65th minute when he was replaced by Demetrio Paldino.  Crotone collected a come from behind victory by scoring the two goals in the 70th and 90th minute as Ristovski made his Primavera debut for Crotone.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Mainz 05 – Werder Bremen 1:3
Nikolce Noveski started at left CB for Mainz and played until the 15th minute when he picked up a thigh injury and had to be substituted by Julian Baumgartlinger.  It was still 0:0 at that point but Werder Bremen would go on to record the 3:1 road victory to hand Mainz yet another loss.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Tavriya – Dynamo Kyiv 0:0
Goran Popov was not called up by Dynamo Kyiv who settled for a goalless draw against Tavriya.  The official website of Dynamo Kyiv announced that both Goran Popov and Andriy Shevchenko would remain in Kyiv and not make the trip to Tavriya.  It did not mention the word injury so both players could have been rested because of a busy schedule over the past month for Dynamo Kyiv.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Zorya – Volyn 0:2
Vance Sikov played the entire game for Volyn and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Volyn played with an extra player for the majority of the game after a Zorya player received a straight red card in the 5th minute for a bad foul on the keeper.  From that point on, Volyn controlled the game and picked up a deserving victory.  Sikov came close to scoring in the 85th minute but his powerful free kick from about 25 meters was saved by the opposing keeper.

Martin Bogatinov was not called up by Karpaty as Andriy Tlumak started in goal while Oleksandr Ilyuschenkov was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Ukraine, Persha Liha, Sevastopol – Krymteplytsia 1:1
Besart Ibraimi was an unused substitute for Sevastopol.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Zulte Waregem – Cercle Brugge 1:1
Aleksandar Trajkovski stayed on the bench for the entire game for Zulte Waregem.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Anderlecht – Lierse 4:0
Boban Grncarov played the first 45 minutes for Lierse before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Péter Kovács.  Lierse suffered a heavy road defeat against the current leaders in Belgium.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, OH Leuven – Beerschot 3:2
Tome Pacovski was an unused substitute for Beerschot as he was the #2 keeper behind Stijn Stijnen.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, APOEL – Anorthosis 0:0
Ivan Trickovski played the entire game for APOEL who settled for a goalless draw in the derby against Anorthosis.  In the third minute, Trickovski’s cross from a free kick reached his teammate Ailton Almeida whose header hit the crossbar.  Ivan’s best chance came in the 80th minute when he nicely chested down a cross inside the area but his effort was then saved by the Anorthosis keeper.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Apollon – Enosis 2:0
Hristijan Kirovski was an unused substitute for Apollon while for the visiting club, Bojan Markoski started at RB and played the entire game while his teammate Petar Milosevski did not play as he was the #2 keeper behind Georgi Petkov.  Markoski had a very good chance in the 8th minute but his header from close range following a corner kick from the right went just over the goal.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, AEK Larnaca – Alki 2:0
Nikola Gligorov started in defensive midfield for Alki and played all 90 minutes as his team suffered a 2:0 road loss against Europa League participants AEK Larnaca.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – Admira 0:0
Ilco Naumoski did not play for Mattersburg because of a yellow cards suspension.  Mattersburg finished the game with two extra players after Admira was shown two red cards by the referee but the home side could not capitalize and both teams settled for a point.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Sion – Thun 2:0
Muhamed Demiri played the entire game for Thun who continued their recent struggles with another loss, this time to Sion.  This was Thun’s fourth consecutive league defeat.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Wil – Stade Nyonnais 3:1
Adis Jahović started on the bench for Wil before he entered the game in the 79th minute replacing Džengis Čavušević.  With the win, Wil moved to third place in the Swiss second division.

South Korea, K-League, Suwon – Jeju United 2:0
Stevica Ristić played the entire game for Suwon and scored the second goal for his team in the 89th minute.  Suwon took a short corner and the ball ultimately reached Ristić who scored from close range with a shot past the visiting keeper.  Ristić also received a yellow card in the 78th minute as this was the 30th and final league game of the season in South Korea.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, GKS Bełchatów – Zagłębie Lubin 2:1
Zlatko Tanevski started at LB for GKS Bełchatów and played all 90 minutes as his team briefly escaped the relegation zone with the narrow home victory over Zagłębie Lubin.  Tanevski also received a yellow card in the 44th minute.

Poland, Unibet 1. Liga, Pogoń Szczecin – Arka Gdynia 3:1
Mirko Ivanovski started for Arka and played until the 65th minute when he was replaced by Janusz Surdykowski.  Ivanovski scored the lone goal for Arka in the 31st minute when he nicely controlled a cross from Piotr Kuklis before scoring past the opposing keeper.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Partizan – Smederevo 3:1
Aleksandar Lazevski was not called up by Partizan.  Lazevski finds himself in a difficult position because he is second on the depth chart at LB behind Vladimir Volkov.  Volkov is considered one of the better players for Partizan so it will be difficult for Lazevski to overtake him in the lineup unless the Partizan manager plays them at the same time with Volkov at a more advanced position in left midfield.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Vojvodina – Spartak Zlatibor Voda 1:1
Daniel Mojsov played the entire game for Vojvodina while Fahrudin Gjurgjević was an unused substitute for Spartak Zlatibor Voda.  Vojvodina initially took the lead in the 76th minute by converting a penalty but the visitors scored the equalizing goal in the 84th minute to clinch a point.

Stefan Spirovski was an unused substitute for Borac Čačak.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Jagodina – Borča 2:0
Dragan Stojkov started for Jagodina and played until the 74th minute when he was replaced by Aleksandar Stojković.  Stojkov also picked up a yellow card in the 35th minute.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Rad – Javor 0:1
Nikola Jakimovski started for Javor and played until the 52nd minute when he was replaced by Ifeanyi Onyilo.  Javor scored the lone goal of the game in the 90th minute to collect the important three points.

France, Ligue 2, Sedan – Amiens 3:1
Vlade Lazarevski was not called up by Amiens.

Denmark, Superliga, Nordsjælland – Lyngby 0:1
Bajram Fetai remains out with an injury for Lyngby.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus liga, Viktoria Žižkov – Slovan Liberec 1:4
Ilija Nestorovski started on the bench for Viktoria Žižkov before he entered the game in the 80th minute replacing Jiří Böhm.  Nestorovski had a good chance in the 85th minute but his effort from a good position went just over the goal.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus liga, Sparta Praha – Mladá Boleslav 0:3
Vladimir Dimitrovski was not among the 18 players called up by Mladá Boleslav who recorded am impressive road victory over the current leaders in the Czech Republic.

Filip Duranski was an unused substitute for Slavia Praha.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Šibenik – Karlovac 4:1
Neither Daniel Georgievski nor Zeni Husmani played for Šibenik in the home win over Karlovac.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Istra 1961 – Dinamo Zagreb 0:2
Armend Alimi played all 90 minutes for Istra 1961 and attempted one shot on goal in the 24th minute but his free kick went wide of the goal.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Hajduk Split – Inter Zaprešic 1:2
Neither Goran Todorcev nor Goran Gancev played for Inter Zaprešic who collected an upset victory over Hajduk Split.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Maribor – Olimpija Ljubljana 2:2
Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Etien Velikonja.  Ibraimi scored the first goal for Maribor in the 45th minute when the ball fell perfectly to Agim who then fired a right footed shot to the back of the net.  After the goal, Ibraimi was shown a yellow card by the referee for excessive celebration as the goal came against his former team Olimpija and Ibraimi did leave the club on bad terms.

Slovakia, Corgon Liga, Košice – Dukla Banská Bystrica 3:1
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded one goal in the 5th minute.  Košice recorded a much needed victory to snap a four game losing streak in league play.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Panetolikos – Skoda Xanthi 2:0
Marjan Altiparmakovski was not among the 18 players called up by Skoda Xanthi.

Bulgaria, A PFG, CSKA Sofia – Levski 1:0
Darko Tasevski started for Levski and played the first 45 minutes before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Sjoerd Ars.  During his time on the field, Tasevski played in the playmaker role but he was ineffective and Levski suffered a minimal 1:0 loss against their heated in-city rivals CSKA.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Heerenveen – ADO Den Haag 4:0
Samir Fazli was not called up by Heerenveen.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, De Graafschap – Vitesse 0:1
Dzelil Abdulla was an unused substitute for De Graafschap.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Eindhoven – Oss 2:0
Antonio Stankov remains out with an injury for Oss.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Neftçi – Turan 1:0
Igor Mitreski played the entire game for Neftçi while his teammate Slavco Georgievski also got the start and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Émile Mpenza.  Neftçi scored the lone goal of the game in the 90th minute through striker Bahodir Nasimov to record the slim victory.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Sumqayıt – AZAL 2:1
Robert Petrov started on the bench for AZAL before he entered the game in the 69th minute replacing Tarlan Khalilov.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Universitatea Cluj – Dinamo Bucureşti 0:0
Kristijan Naumovski was not called up by Dinamo Bucureşti as Cristian Bălgrădean started in goal while George Curcă was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Bosnia, Premijer Liga, Slavija – Željezničar 1:5
Perica Stanceski began the game on the bench for Željezničar before he came on in the 78th minute replacing Zajko Zeba.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Tiraspol – Dacia 0:2
Goran Dimovski played all 90 minutes for Dacia while Jasmin Mecinović was an unused substitute for Tiraspol as the visitors recorded the victory by scoring their two goals in the 15th and 90th minute.
