Macedonian squad announced
Mirsad Jonuz, the coach of the Macedonian national team announced the squad list for the upcoming friendly matches against Canada and Iran. The goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski is the only new name in the list.
Macedonian First League – Round 11
One third of the Macedonian First League was completed today. Two big derbies were played in this round. In the derby of Pelagonija, Pobeda and Pelister shared the points, while in the derby of Tetovo, Renova won with a goal in the last seconds.
Macedonian Cup – 1/4 finals
With the big win of 4:0 in the most interesting duel between the current two leading teams in the league Rabotnicki and Renova, the current Macedonian cup title holders Rabotnicki have made a big step towards the 1/2 finals.

Macedonia dropped on the 66th position
A big drop of ten positions on the latest FIFA rankings. After the defeats away to Scotland and Norway in September, even the win on the friendly against Qatar didn’t help, so Macedonia lost 94 points and is ranked 66th on the FIFA World Ranking for October 2009.
Friendlies against Canada and Iran
The Football Federation of Macedonia has arranged two friendly matches for next month. Macedonia will host Canada and then will travel to Iran for friendly matches as part of the preparations for the EURO 2012 qualifiers.
