Macedonian First League – Round 11

Pobeda - Pelister One third of the Macedonian First League was completed today. Two big derbies were played in this round. In the derby of Pelagonija, Pobeda and Pelister shared the points, while in the derby of Tetovo, Renova won with a goal in the last seconds.

In a not so interesting match, the big rivals from the Pelagonija region Pobeda and Pelister, shared the points with a scoreless draw. The hosts had the initiative in the first half and had two good scoring chances. Pelister controlled more of the second half, but failed to create scoring opportunities and the match ended with 0:0.

The other derby was close to end with the same result as Teteks and Renova failed to score in the regular 90 minutes, but the Macedonian national team player Besart Ibraimi brought the points for Renova in the last seconds of the additional minutes of the match.

Leaders Rabotnicki had an easy task away to Sloga and won the points with goals in the first half. Brazilian striker Wandeir announced the win in the 3rd minute and the leading striker Bobi Bozinovski scored his 9th goal this season in the 27th minute. Only two minutes later Wandeir scored his second goal on this match and set the final score.

Vardar continues with the bad result. With few missing players, Vardar had to played with a mixed squad and a 17 year old goalkeeper had his debut on the goal today. The inexperience and the many mistakes by all players cost them another defeat. Dragan Georgiev and Sasko Pandev scored for Turnovo in the second half and Filip Petrov lowered the lead in the second half, but only few minutes later Marjan Andonov scored the third goal for Turnovo and set the final score.

As expected, Makedonija continued with the good results on their ground and defeated Sileks with the goals by Ivan Nastevski and Milan Ilievski. Metalurg had the easiest task in this round and trashed Milano with the goals by Sabani, Đurić, Neno and Tadić.
