A big drop of ten positions on the latest FIFA rankings. After the defeats away to Scotland and Norway in September, even the win on the friendly against Qatar didn’t help, so Macedonia lost 94 points and is ranked 66th on the FIFA World Ranking for October 2009.
In September, Macedonia was defeated with 2:1 away to Scotland and 2:0 away to Norway in the World Cup 2010 qualifications. Last week Macedonia defeated Qatar in a friendly match, but this didn’t help a lot as 94 points were lost from the last rankings and with 476 points Macedonia dropped 10 positions and is now ranked 66th.
