After two seasons of inactivity, the fourth tier group Tetovo is about to be revived.
Last time this group played was the season 2017/18 when Ljuboten ended up first and won promotion to the 3.MFL West. In the next two seasons, due to problems within the local OFS Tetovo, the league wasn’t active. Now, halfway into the 2020/21 season the league will be revived with the entire season to be played this spring.
Nine clubs will participate among which one debutante and a returnee. Brvenica village team of Vardar will participate for the first time since the 2013/14 season while Akademija Zvezda from the village of Dobarce will have their inaugural season in senior football as they were formed as a youth club.
A total of 18 round will be played with each club playing 16 matches and twice being idle. The Round 1 matches are scheduled for Sunday, 14th of February, which is a big holiday in Macedonia known as St. Tryphon’s Day, commonly known among the Macedonian as the Day of Vinelovers or even as the Day of the Drunks. However, it is expected some match to be moved for Saturday.
