The Macedonian national team did not play any matches but still recorded increase in points which resulted into moving up six places on the newest FIFA world ranking list for June.
In this pre-World Cup period when all national teams play friendly matches, Macedonia was inactive. The football federation failed to find an opponent after St. Kitts and Nevis cancelled their visit to Skopje and later the negotiation for a friendly against Iran on neutral field in Turkey ended up negative.
Despite not playing a game, Macedonia jumped six places having 19 points more than the previous month. This is thanks to the fact that some old negative results got erased and the teams places above the Lynx lost points and dropped places.
