On a poll on Željezničar’s official website, Yani Urdinov was voted as the best player during the month of July by the Bosnian club’s supporters.

This past Thursday, on 1 August, Željezničar’s official website announced a poll where the club’s supporters would decide which player deserved to be player of the month for July.  The club nominated five players that were most worthy of being on the poll which included Urdinov, Adnan Hadzic, Tomislav Tomic, Nermin Jamak and Sead Bucan.

The fans had until Sunday to cast their vote and after a total of 1,630 votes, Urdinov received the most support with 45% of the votes.  That comes out to 738 votes which put him well above the second placed finisher Nermin Jamak who received 381 votes.

Urdinov plays left-back for Željezničar and based on comments from the club’s supporters, some of the reasons they voted for Yani include his fighting spirit and the fact that he leaves it all out on the field each and every game.
