Noveski (R) in action for Mainz; photo: ksta.deAdis Jahovikj compiled a goal and an assist for Wil, Mirko Ivanovski and Muarem Muarem were credited with assists for their respective teams, while Darko Tofiloski kept a clean sheet for Košice.

Germany, DFB-Pokal, Fortuna Köln – Mainz 1:2
Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who needed a come from behind victory to down lower division side Fortuna Köln to advance to the next round of the German Cup.  Noveski came close to scoring in the 52nd minute following a corner kick, but his sliding attempt from close range, after a header toward goal by teammate Stefan Bell, was barely missed as the ball wound up just inches wide of the right goal post.

Germany, DFB-Pokal, Karlsruher – Wolfsburg 1:3
Ferhan Hasani was not included in the squad by Wolfsburg.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Charleroi – Waasland-Beveren 1:1
Ivan Trichkovski started in attack for Waasland-Beveren and played until the 78th minute when he was substituted by René Sterckx.  Trichkovski had one shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but his effort lacked power and was saved by the Charleroi keeper.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Gent – Mechelen 2:1
Tome Pachovski stayed on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Wouter Biebauw.

Aleksandar Trajkovski was an unused substitute for Zulte Waregem.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Volyn – Dnipro 1:3
Vanche Shikov played all 90 minutes for Volyn who took the initial lead in the 29th minute before conceding the next three goals, the last two coming in a two minute stretch during the 74th and 75th minute after Volyn went down to ten players earlier in the 2nd half.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Corona Braşov – Astra 2:5
Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench for Astra before he entered the game in the 40th minute replacing the injured Kehinde Fatai.  In the 84th minute, Ivanovski tried to go around several markers, but his touch, which was a tad long, was intercepted by teammate William Amorim who then fired a shot to the back of the net.

Muhamed Demiri remains out with an injury for St. Gallen.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Wil – Vaduz 2:1
Adis Jahovikj started for Wil in attack and played until the 87th minute when he made way for fellow striker Emra Tahirovic.  Adis scored the opening goal of the game early in the 5th minute, and then provided the assist on the second Wil goal in the 75th minute when he set up teammate Nikola Bozic.  Jahovic could have had another goal in the 48th minute, but his penalty was saved by the Vaduz keeper.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Śląsk Wrocław – Wisła Kraków 0:0
Ostoja Stjepanovikj played the opening 45 minutes for Wisła Kraków before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Patryk Małecki.  Ostoja also picked up a yellow card in the 37th minute.

Austria, tipp 3 Bundesliga, Sturm Graz – Rapid Wien 2:4
Aleksandar Todorovski played all 90 minutes for Sturm Graz and gave away a penalty in the 51st minute when he fouled an opposing player inside the area.  Rapid Wien converted the spot kick for their second goal of the match, and then went on to add two more goals to celebrate a high scoring road victory.

Bulgaria, A Group, Litex Lovech – Botev Plovdiv 0:0
Boban Grncharov played the entire game for Botev Plovdiv and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw against Litex Lovech.

Hristijan Kirovski was an unused substitute for CSKA Sofia.

Dragi Kocev was an unused substitute for Pirin.

Daniel Mojsov started for Brann and played until the 13th minute when he received his second yellow card of the game, leading to a red card and a sending off by the referee.

Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw against Spartak Trnava.

Samir Fazli was an unused substitute for Heerenveen.

Antonio Stankov played the entire game for MVV Maastricht who opened the new season of the Dutch second division with a road defeat against Dordrecht.

Mario Gjurovski was not included in the Muangthong United squad due to a yellow card suspension.

Yani Urdinov played all 90 minutes for Željezničar and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the home triumph over Travnik.  Yani also collected a yellow card during the game.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Honvéd – Lombard-Pápa 0:1
Jasmin Mecinovikj was not among the 18 players called up by Lombard-Pápa.

Japan, J.League, Iwata – Nagoya 2:3
Nikola Jakimovski was an unused substitute for Nagoya.

Japan, J2 League, Tokushima – Gifu 3:1
Bazhe Ilijoski started for Gifu and played until the 81st minute when he made way for Kayne Vincent.

Denmark, Superliga, Odense – Viborg 4:2
Aleksandar Stankov got the start for Viborg and played until the 57th minute when he was substituted by Ousmane Sarr.  Stankov was also shown a yellow card in the 33rd minute.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Bohemians 1905 – Příbram 2:0
Zoran Danoski played from the start for Příbram who conceded a goal in each half on their way to the road loss.  Danoski also received a yellow card in the 31st minute.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Neftçi – AZAL 4:1
Igor Mitreski played the entire game for Neftçi who opened the league season in Azerbaijan with a comfortable home victory over AZAL.

Nikola Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Khazar Lankaran in defensive midfield during the opening round draw against Sumqayıt.

Slavcho Georgievski was an unused substitute for Inter Bakı, while Muarem Muarem played the entire game for Qarabağ and provided the assist on the second and game winning goal for the visitors in the 57th minute when his cross from the right was headed home by Leroy George.

Edin Nuredinoski was not included in the Bakı squad as Aqil Mammadov started in goal while Kamran Agayev was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Mensur Kurtishi played all 90 minutes for Tobol, while his teammate Nikola Tonev was not included in the 18 player squad.  Kurtishi had a good chance in the 17th minute when he was one on one with the Astana keeper, but he hesitated for a brief moment and that allowed the keeper to pounce on the ball.
