Thanks to two late goals, Slovenia U19 recorded a 2:0 victory over their counterparts from Macedonia in the second friendly between these youth national teams in three days.

Two days ago, in the first friendly between the U19 national teams of Slovenia and Macedonia, there was no winner in a 1:1 draw but Slovenia U19 did celebrate a 2:0 win today thanks to two late goals in the 85th and 87th minute.  Manager Mensur Jakupi used these two friendlies as preparation for the next qualifying cycle which will see Macedonia U19 in a group with Germany, Ireland, and Luxembourg.

Macedonia U19 fielded the following starting 11 in today’s friendly:  Iliev, Murati, Musliu, Bejtulai, Dzinov, Kocev, Adili, Nikolov, Mitrevski, Kalanoski, Gocevski.

Also played:  Aleksovski, Zafirovski, Tosevski, Atanasovski, Jonuzi, Karimani, Skenderi, Nakov, Aleksov.
