Hungary U19 celebrated a 2:1 victory over Macedonia U19 in the second friendly match played today in Strumica.
A more exciting match between these two youth national teams took place today, after the first friendly ended in a goalless draw. The visitors were better in the first half while Macedonia took control after the break. Nevertheless, Hungary U19 managed to come out on top by winning 2:1. Defender Dávid Kelemen opened the scoring in the 16th minute, while Zoltán Szedlár doubled the lead in the 35th minute after a mistake by the Macedonian defenders.
In the second half, Macedonia played better and created more chances. In the 71st minute, Boban Nikolov and the scorer of the second goal for Hungary received red cards, while Macedonia pulled one goal back two minutes later when Asmir Ramadanoski reached the back of the net. That proved to be the final goal in the 2:1 scoreline.
