Czech side České Budějovice has decided not to sign striker Riste Naumov who was on trial with the club.
Despite playing in several friendlies and scoring two goals, Riste Naumov will not be offered a contract by Czech top division side České Budějovice. The manager of the club, František Cipro, said, “After a long-term injury, it is true that Naumov did fine in the several friendlies that he played for our club. However, we already have similar type players on the roster and there would be no guarantee that Naumov would receive playing time. We believe that Naumov has to play regularly in order to regain his old form but since we can’t guarantee that, we have decided not to sign him.”
