Goran Pandev found the back of the net once for Napoli in today’s 3:2 friendly win over Bayern München.

Goran Pandev, wearing #19 from back in his Lazio days after that number was freed up this offseason, initially started the friendly on the bench for Napoli before he came on in the 60th minute to replace Eduardo Vargas.  Pandev quickly scored a goal in the 66th minute to hand Napoli the 2:1.  Goran scored a simple goal from close range after being set up by Juan Zúñiga.  Bayern went on to tie the game at 2:2 in the 74th minute but Napoli secured the win thanks to a strike from Lorenzo Insigne in the 82nd minute.

Napoli is getting ready for its official match of the season which takes place on 18 August when they take on Juventus in the Italian Super Cup final.  Over the next couple of weeks heading into that match, Napoli will play additional friendlies to get fully ready for Juventus.
