Naumoski with an assist for Mattersburg

Ilcho Naumoski was credited with an assist to help Mattersburg defeat Magna Wiener Neustadt in the opening round of the 2012/13 season in Austria.

Mattersburg and Ilcho Naumoski began the new Austrian season with a 2:0 home win over Magna Wiener Neustadt.  Naumoski was actually questionable for the game with a toe injury, but managed to recover in time to find himself in the starting lineup.  Ilcho played until the 72nd minute when he was substituted by Florin Lovin, and provided the assist on the second Mattersburg goal in the 61st minute.  Naumoski passed the ball to Thorsten Röcher who took a few dribbles before firing a shot past the opposing keeper.  He was also shown a yellow card in the 18th minute.

Meanwhile, in ongoing friendlies featuring Macedonian internationals from the European leagues that have yet to start their league seasons, Boban Grncharov and Ferhan Hasani made good contributions with the former scoring a goal while the latter distributed an assist.  Grncharov played all 90 minutes for Botev Plovdiv and scored the third goal for his team in a 4:2 friendly victory over Czech side Slovácko, while Hasani played the 2nd half for Wolfsburg and provided an assist on the third goal for Wolfsburg in a 4:2 win over Germania Halberstadt.  Ferhan is still with Wolfsburg despite being linked with a loan move to Dynamo Dresden by German newspapers.  Hasani has been playing in defense at right and left back for Wolfsburg over the past couple of friendlies, not in attack.
