With Ivan Trichkovski set to complete his transfer to Club Brugge next week, Belgian newspapers spoke to Tome Pachovski to learn more about the player.
Ivan Trichkovski and Tome Pachovski are teammates on the Macedonian national team and since the latter plays his club football in Belgium with Mechelen, newspapers over there wanted to learn more about Trichkovski upon his move to Club Brugge.
Pachovski spoke very highly of Trichkovski and was full of praise, saying “Together with Goran Pandev, they are the best footballers from Macedonia. I strongly believe in his qualities. He is very fast, has good dribbling abilities and also a good shot. In Belgium, I don’t see similar players but at the international level, I compare him to Eden Hazard. A similar player, smaller but can make a difference.”
When asked about his personality, Pachovski said that Ivan was easygoing and not a big talker. In addition, Tome noted that Trichkovski speaks English so that should help his transition to Belgium since many players over there speak that language.
For the 2014 World Cup qualifications, Macedonia and Belgium are in the same group which led Pachovski to say that Belgium should keep a close eye on Trichkovski during those matches.
