Israeli newspapers report that Hapoel Be’er Sheva has submitted a proposal to Vojvodina to purchase Macedonian defender Daniel Mojsov.
Another Macedonian international could be heading to Israel after Darko Tasevski and Hristijan Kirovski. That player could be 24-year-old Daniel Mojsov as Hapoel Be’er Sheva has submitted an offer to Vojvodina to purchase the tall center back. The Israeli club is now awaiting an answer from Vojvodina and if the offer is accepted, Mojsov is expected to sign a long term deal with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
The manager of Hapoel Be’er Sheva, Elisha Levy, apparently watched Mojsov in action this past season and came away satisfied with his abilities. He then gave the green light to the club’s management to attempt to purchase Mojsov in the summer.
Last season, Daniel extended his Vojvodina contract until December of 2012 so this summer transfer window is the last opportunity for the Serbian club to get some money for Mojsov. Daniel has spent the past two season with Vojvodina, compiling 46 leagues caps and netting two goals.
In the past, Mojsov has talked about his preferred next team being in western Europe, but the Israeli league continues to improve and is now ranked #17 amongst the 53 football associations of UEFA.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva barely avoided the drop last season as they finished in the spot just above the relegation zone. The club conceded 61 goals last season, so they are looking to strengthen the defense and view Mojsov as someone who can help in that department.
