Overview of Round 21 in the Second League

In a round that saw a total of just six goals, Gostivar and Mladost CD were the only two teams to record wins.

Gostivar played its first game under new manager Argjend Beqiri, one of the assistants on the staff of former Macedonian national team manager Boshko Gjurovski. Beqiri had the easiest opponent that he could get by playing a home game against last placed Napredok. Given those facts, Gostivar had no problems and managed to collect all three points.

Mladost CD, a club based in a small village, continued to be the biggest surprise this season. They beat Drita 2:0 to remain in second place on the standings. If they can maintain that position the rest of the way, that would lead to direct promotion to the top division.

Besides those two games, the other three matches of Round 21 ended goalless. Leaders Shkupi was held by FK Skopje, as was Makedonija Gjorche Petrov versus Kozhuf and Velazerimi against Euromilk.
