Midfielder Slavco Georgievski had a great game for Neftçi with a goal and an assist in today’s 7:1 thumping of AZAL at home.

Both Slavco Georgievski and Igor Mitreski played the entire hame for Neftçi in their 7:1 win over AZAL but the former played a big part in the win with a goal and two assists.  Neftçi cruised to an easy victory over AZAL who was without the services of Macedonian Robert Petrov.  Georgievski provided the two assists on the third and sixth goals for Neftçi in the 19th and 56th minute and then scored the final goal for his team in the 77th minute from close range after he was set up by teammate Émile Mpenza.  After the goal, Georgievski was shown a yellow card by the referee for taking his jersey off.  Both of his assists came on good through balls which were converted into goals by Bahodir Nasimov and Flavinho, respectively.
