This cross by Lazevski led to the third goal for Partizan; photo: partizan.rsAleksandar Trajkovski scored a stunning goal for Zulte Waregem, Ivan Trickovski and Aleksandar Lazevski assisted for their respective teams, while Slavco Georgievski scored one goal while also providing two assists for Neftçi.

Italy, Serie A, Novara – Napoli 1:1
Goran Pandev played the entire game for Napoli who only settled for a point against the 18th ranked side in Italy.  Pandev had two attempts towards goal but both of his efforts went well wide of the target.  First, in the 15th minute, Pandev sent a header well over the goal and then his left footed shot from outside of the box in the 23rd minute also went over the goal.  In the third minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute, Pandev went down inside the area, after slight contact with the Novara keeper, looking for a penalty but the referee felt Pandev dived and soon blew the final whistle so both teams had to settle for a point.

Italy, Serie B, Nocerina – Crotone 0:2
Stefan Ristovski was among 20 players called up by Crotone for this game but he did not make the final 18 list which is the maximum number allowed with the 11 starters and 7 players on the bench.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Mainz 05 – Hamburg 0:0
Nikolce Noveski resumed training with Mainz earlier in the week but he was still not ready for game action so he was left out of the Mainz squad for this game.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Karpaty – Dynamo Kyiv 0:1
Goran Popov remains out with an injury for Dynamo Kyiv while Martin Bogatinov was an unused substitute for Karpaty as he was the #2 keeper behind Andriy Tlumak.  For the second straight game, Dynamo Kyiv scored a late goal (88th minute in this game) to clinch a minimal victory.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Volyn – Illichivets 0:1
Vance Sikov did not play for Volyn because of a red card suspension as his club suffered a bad home loss against Illichivets.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Metalurh Donetsk – Zorya 3:0
Mario Gjurovski was not called up by Metalurh Donetsk.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Gent – Beerschot 0:1
Tome Pacovski started in goal for Beerschot and played until the 70th minute when bleeding to his head forced him to be substituted by Kristof Maes.  Pacovski was inadvertently elbowed by an opposing player in the head and stayed down for several minutes before the doctors of Beerschot told the manager of the club to make a substitution.  Prior to the injury, Tome was having another solid outing as he did not concede a goal during his time on the field. 

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Genk – Lierse 4:0
Boban Grncarov was not called up by Lierse because of an injury.  His club suffered a heavy defeat against the defending league champions in Belgium.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, OH Leuven – Zulte Waregem 2:2
Aleksandar Trajkovski started on the bench for Zulte Waregem before he entered the game in the 57th minute replacing the injured Jens Naessens.  Trajkovski provided an immediate spark by playing a part in the first goal for his club in the 64th minute when his clever backheel pass reached Jérémy Serwy whose cross was connected by the goalscorer Jonathan Delaplace from close range.  Then, in the 72nd minute, Trajkovski scored a stunning goal with a perfect shot from distance to the upper left corner to hand Zulte Waregem the 1:2 lead.  However, the home side managed to collect a point by scoring the equalizer in the 85th minute from a penalty.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Omonia – APOEL 1:3
Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL who celebrated a victory over their heated in-city rivals Omonia.  Trickovski was credited with the assist on the third goal for APOEL in the 78th minute when he found Esteban Solari who then scored an easy goal into the empty net.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, AEL – Ethnikos Achnas 0:0
Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and kept a clean sheet for the third consecutive game while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov also got the start and played until the 72nd minute when he was replaced by Ivan Babić.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Anorthosis – Apollon 2:0
Hristijan Kirovski started on the bench for Apollon before he entered the game in the 87th minute replacing António Lopes.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – Kapfenberg 2:0
Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Thorsten Röcher.  In the 28th minute, Naumoski came inches from scoring but his strong header following a corner kick from the right struck the crossbar.  However, Mattersburg scored a goal from that instance as the Kapfenberg defender made a bad clearance and that allowed Patrick Bürger to score a goal from close range.  Ilco also received a yellow card in the 71st minute.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Thun – Young Boys 1:1
Muhamed Demiri got the start for Thun in defensive midfield and played until the 90th minute when he was substituted by Sekou Sanogo.  Thun took the early lead in the 9th minute only for Young Boys to score the equalizing goal in the 27th minute through striker Nassim Ben Khalifa.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Aarau – Kriens 3:1
Aco Stojkov was not called up by Aarau because of an injury while Robert Popov did not play for Kriens.  Aarau finished the first half of the season tied for second place in the second division.

Adis Jahović started at the lone striker position for Wil and played the entire game as his club suffered a narrow home loss against Biel-Bienne.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Wisła Kraków – Polonia Warszawa 0:1
Aleksandar Todorovski started on the bench for Polonia Warszawa before he entered the game in the 88th minute replacing Pavel Šultes.  Polonia managed to barely edge Wisła Kraków with Šultes scoring the only goal of the game in the 82nd minute with a shot from just outside of the area.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Podbeskidzie – GKS Bełchatów 1:0
Zlatko Tanevski started at LB for GKS Bełchatów and played all 90 minutes as his club closed the first half of the season in Poland with a narrow road loss against Podbeskidzie.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Metalac – Partizan 0:3
Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Partizan and provided the assist on the third goal for his team in the 52nd minute.  Lazevski’s cross from the left reached his teammate Zvonimir Vukić who then scored with a shot past the Metalac keeper.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Crvena Zvezda – Vojvodina 0:2
Daniel Mojsov played all 90 minutes for Vojvodina and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet against Crvena Zvezda.  Vojvodina scored both goals in the second half on their way to the impressive road victory.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Borac Čačak – Spartak Zlatibor Voda 0:1
Stefan Spirovski got the start for Borac Čačak and played until the 89th minute when he was substituted by Miloš Živanović while Fahrudin Gjurgjević did not play for Spartak Zlatibor Voda.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Borča – Javor 1:1
Nikola Jakimovski started for Javor and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Živorad Mišić.  Jakimovski had a good chance in the 4th minute but his effort was denied by the home keeper.  As Jakimovski was leaving the field to be substituted, he was shown a red card by the referee.

Dragan Stojkov played the entire game for Jagodina who settled for a 0:0 draw against Novi Pazar.

Gjorgi Tanusev began the game on the bench for Sevojno before he came on in the 67th minute replacing Đuro Stevančević.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Kerkyra – Olympiacos 0:4
Goran Maznov was an unused substitute for Kerkyra who suffered a heavy defeat against Olympiacos.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, AZ – De Graafschap 4:0
Dzelil Abdula started on the bench for De Graafschap before he entered the game in the 72nd minute replacing Purrel Fränkel.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Oss – Telstar 3:1
Neither Antonio Stankov nor his twin brother, Aleksandar Stankov, were called up by Oss.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Neftçi – AZAL 7:1
Both Igor Mitreski and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi who cruised to an easy home victory over AZAL.  Georgievski provided the assists on the third and sixth goals for Neftçi and then scored the final goal of the game in the 77th minute to set the 7:1 scoreline.  After the goal, Georgievski was also shown a yellow card for taking his jersey off.  For AZAL, Robert Petrov was not among the 18 players called up for this game.

Zoran Baldovaliev started for Najran and played until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Ahmed Mefleh.  Baldavaliev provided the assist on the lone goal by Najran in the 16th minute when he found Hamad Al Rabaei who then sent his shot past the opposing keeper.
