Mainz captain Nikolce Noveski has recovered from his thigh injury and is expected to make the squad for Sunday’s game against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

German newspapers are reporting that Nikolce Noveski has recovered from his nagging thigh injury but he is not guaranteed to regain his starting job at left CB.  Mainz has played very well over the last couple of games without Noveski and the manager might stick with that lineup for the near future.  Mainz manager Thomas Tuchel said the following about the availability of Noveski for Sunday’s game, “He is definitely a candidate to make the squad, but not the starting lineup.”  Mainz has not lost a game in the five league games without the injured Noveski.  Mainz has compiled 9 points during that stretch (two wins and three draws), including an impressive home victory over Bayern München.
