Ivan Nastevski notched another goal to help Ethnikos Gazoros celebrate a narrow 2:1 victory over Apollon Kalamaria.
Nastevski started on the wing for Ethnikos Gazoros and played all 90 minutes in Monday’s league encounter against Apollon Kalamaria. Early in the 9th minute, Nastevski made it 1:0 for the home team when his volley attempt was saved by the opposing keeper, but he tapped in the rebound for his 4th goal of the season.
Ivan celebrated the goal by removing his jersey, which automatically led the referee to give him a yellow card. The lead for Ethnikos Gazoros lasted only 10 minutes, however, as Apollon Kalamaria made it 1:1 in the 19th minute. The home side eventually snatched all three points by scoring the game winning goal in the 70th minute.
The win moved Ethnikos Gazoros into 3rd place on the table with 24 points in the Greek second division. They trail Kerkyra, the team of another Macedonian player in Zoran Baldovaliev, by 9 points.
