After finishing the 1st half of the season in the relegation zone, Shtip based Bregalnica has decided to dismiss manager Dobrinko Ilievski.

Bregalnica concluded the 1st half of the season in the 9th position, fourth from the bottom of the table.  This year, since the last four teams get relegated, Bregalnica finds themselves in the relegation zone.  So, the management of the club has decided to let go of Ilievski and have a new manager in time for the 2nd half of the season.

Although Bregalnica has struggled in league play, they have reached the semi-finals of the Macedonian Cup.  There, they were drawn to face Rabotnichki.  The other semi-final matchup, meanwhile, is Metalurg vs. Teteks.

The bad results in league play had led to a poor atmosphere in the locker room.  Bregalnica is likely to experience an exodus of players leaving the club over the next month or so during the winter transfer window.
