Midweek internationals performances‏

Aleksandar StankovBesart Ibraimi and Aleksandar Stankov with two goals for their respective teams, while several Macedonians participated in Champions League and Europa League qualifications with their teams.

UEFA Champions League, Second Qualifying Round, Partizan – Pyunik 3:1
Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Partizan and picked up a yellow card in the 73rd minute.  He made a slight mistake on the goal by Pyunik but was great at going forward from the LB position and if he continues to be a regular for Partizan, then he has a good chance to be called up to the national team.

UEFA Champions League, Second Qualifying Round, Levadia – Debreceni 1:1

Mirsad Mijadinoski played all 90 minutes for Debreceni.

UEFA Champions League, Second Qualifying Round, Hapoel Tel Aviv – Željezničar 5:0
Goran Gancev started on the bench for Željezničar but came on before the start of the 2nd half with his club losing 5:0 and his club played much better and prevented Hapoel Tel Aviv from extending their lead in the 2nd half.  Gancev joined Željezničar this summer after playing for Macedonian club Pelister last year.

UEFA Europa League, Second Qualifying Round, Tauras – APOEL 0:3
Boban Grncarov played all 90 minutes for APOEL while his teammate Ivan Trickovski started on the bench before he entered the game in the 69th minute replacing Esteban Solari.  Trickovski immediately became a threat and had two shots on goal in the 73rd and 74th minute but his shots were saved by the Tauras keeper.

UEFA Europa League, Second Qualifying Round, Levski – Dundalk 6:0
Darko Tasevski started for Levski and played until the 64th minute as his team thrashed their opponents from Ireland.

UEFA Europa League, Second Qualifying Round, Olimpia Bălţi – Dinamo Bucureşti 0:2
Kristijan Naumovski recently signed with Dinamo Bucureşti but he is not eligible to play for them in the Europa League because he already played in the same competition with Rabotnicki.  As for Blagoja Todorovski, he was not included in Dinamo’s roster for the Europa League and he doesn’t seem to be in the plans of Dinamo manager Ioan Andone.

Russia, Russian Cup, Krasnodar – Tom’ Tomsk 2:1
Goran Maznov was given the start by Tom’ manager Valeri Nepomniachi but failed to impress and was substituted in the 34th minute.  This game was tied at 1:1 after 90 minutes so it went into extra time where Krasnodar scored the decisive goal in the 98th minute.  With the loss, Tom’ was eliminated from the Russian Cup.

Russia, Russian Cup, Shinnik Yaroslavl – Krylya Sovetov 2:1
Artim Polozani was not called up by Krylya Sovetov who were also eliminated from the Russian Cup with the loss to Shinnik Yaroslavl.

Friendly, ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen – Schalke 04 2:5
Besart Ibraimi played the 2nd half for Schalke and scored two goals in the 79th and 81st minute.  Ibraimi also hit the post in the 77th minute.

Friendly, FSG Homberg/Ober-Ofleiden – Eintracht Frankfurt 3:10
Neither Aleksandar Vasoski nor Oka Nikolov played for Eintracht Frankfurt.  They were both rested by Eintracht manager Michael Skibbe.

Friendly, Hajduk Kula – Vojvodina 0:2
Both Mario Gjurovski and Daniel Mojsov started for Vojvodina.

Friendly, Vojvodina – Radnički Sombor 3:0
Mario Gjurovski played from the start for Vojvodina while Daniel Mojsov came on in the 2nd half.

Friendly, GKS Bełchatów – Pogoń Szczecin 3:0
Zlatko Tanevski played the 1st half for Bełchatów.

Friendly, Mladá Boleslav – Dukla Praha 0:0
Vladimir Dimitrovski played the 2nd half for Mladá Boleslav.  Dimitrovski was on trial at Mladá Boleslav in mid June but only spent two days with them before he returned home but Mladá Boleslav decided to give him another chance and he impressed and that led to Dimitrovski signing a contract with the Czech club.  This was their last friendly before the first league game on July 18.

Friendly, SVF Herringen – Roda 0:5
Aleksandar Stankov scored two goals for Roda before the game was abandoned in the 40th minute because of inclement weather.

Friendly, Inter Zaprešić – Celje 2:0
Aleksandar Trajkovski started on the bench for Inter before he entered the game in the 2nd half.

Friendly, Inter Zaprešić – Krško 2:2
Aleksandar Trajkovski got the start for Inter.
