Mecinović made debut for Tiraspol

Jasmin Mecinović finally made his season debut for Tiraspol during today’s 3:1 road loss against Sheriff.

Jasmin Mecinović started at CB for Tiraspol and played all 90 minutes as his side suffered a 3:1 loss against the current leaders in Moldova.  Mecinović was not really at fault on any of the goals so hopefully he will receive more playing time in the future.  Jasmin was facing his former team Sheriff as he spent several months at the club last year before moving to Tiraspol earlier in the summer.

Mecinović is an important member of the Macedonian U21 national team.  He usually starts at one of the CB positions where he is partnered by current Rabotnicki player Goran Bogdanović who is the captain of Macedonia U21.  However, Jasmin has not been playing for Tiraspol until today’s game when he finally made his debut by playing in all 90 minutes during the 3:1 loss against Sheriff.
