The suspension that was levied on Stevica Ristić was for the AFC Champions League so he was allowed to play during today’s league game and scored a nice goal to give Suwon a 1:0 win over Gwangju.

The suspension on Stevica Ristić is ongoing but during the proceedings, Ristić will be allowed to play during league games.  He is suspended from taking part in AFC Champions League games.  So, during today’s league game against Gwangju, Ristić had the right to play and scored the only goal of the game in the 10th minute to hand his team a narrow 1:0 road victory.

Stevica Ristić ended up playing all 90 minutes for Suwon and scored his goal with a powerful right footed shot following a low cross from the right.  The opposing goalkeeper had no chance as Ristić also seemed a little surprised at scoring such a goal.
