Rockdale and Bankstown oppened the 2015 edition of the Maso Cup with minimal wins over Wollongong and Yagoona.
The day 1 of the traditional tournament for Australian clubs with Macedonian heritage saw both co-hosts celebrating a lone goal wins. Rockdale beat Wollongong, while Bankstown defeated Yagoona thanks to a 25 meter beauty by Alvaro Malmierca. Besides these two, there were also games in two other categories: the veterans of Rockdale beat the veterans of Yagoona with 3:0, while the women’s U17 team of Bankstown beat their reserve team with 1:0.
