Filip Pivkovski sent on loan to Martina Franca

Pivkovski playing for Macedonia U21Novara has decided to loan striker Filip Pivkovski to fellow Italian third division side Martina Franca.

The Swedish-born Filip Pivkovski, who turns 21 years old next Saturday, will move to Martina Franca until the end of this season. He was not in the plans of the Novara manager and asked for a new team which led to this loan agreement to Martina Franca.

Just like Novara, Martina Franca competes in the Italian third division. However, they are in different groups. Italy’s third division is divided into three groups, each consisting of 20 teams. Novara is in Group A, while Martina Franca finds itself in Group C.

Pivkovski will be aiming to receive regular playing time, something that wasn’t happening at Novara. Last year, Filip officially decided to represent Macedonia. He currently plays for the U21 national team where he is one of the key players for manager Bobi Milevski. Formerly he was capped by Sweden’s youth national teams.
