Macedonian internationals performances

Noveski challenges Freiburg's Admir MehmediNikolche Noveski collected an assist in his return for Mainz, Muarem compiled two goals for Qarabağ, Darko Tofiloski returned to action for Košice, Stevica Ristic notched one goal for Jeonnam, while Mario Gjurovski and Darko Tasevski each provided an assist for their respective teams in Thailand.

Aleksandar Trajkovski began the game on the bench for Zulte Waregem before he was introduced at the hour mark to replace Karim Rossi. Trajkovski nearly scored a spectacular goal on a volley in the 79th minute, but it went just over. In the 87th minute, with his team trailing 1:2, Trajkovski’s free kick was saved by the keeper, but his teammate Ghislain Gimbert scored on the rebound.

Besart Abdurahimi opened on the bench for Lokeren before he made a late appearance in the 90th minute to replace Hans Vanaken. Moments later, Abdurahimi was credited with an assist when he sent a pass forward, reaching teammate Nill De Pauw who managed to notch a goal.

Daniel Mojsov started in central defense for Lierse and played until the 30th minute when an injury forced him to leave the pitch. Mojsov’s left knee was stepped on by Cercle Brugge striker Junior Kabananga who only got a yellow card. The severity of his injury is not known at this time.

Jovan Kostovski did not feature for OH Leuven due to an illness. OH Leuven made easy work of the last placed club in the Belgian second division.

Vanche Shikov was once again left out of the Austria Wien squad by interim manager Andreas Ogris. Shikov will likely watch the remaining games this season from the stands, and then look to join a new team in the summer.

Nikolche Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz as he returned to action for the first time in over four months. He got a chance since Stefan Bell was also out for Mainz, increasing the injury crisis at CB even more. Noveski was credited with an assist on the second goal after a scramble following a corner kick. Noveski managed to pass the ball to Shinji Okazaki during the heavy traffic, resulting in a goal for the Japanese striker.

Turkey, Spor Toto Süper Lig, Trabzonspor – Galatasaray 2:1
Goran Pandev opened on the bench for Galatasaray before he was introduced in the 67th minute to replace Burak Yılmaz. Pandev was mostly quiet as he was given a rare appearance in league play. The match was tied at 1:1 when Pandev came on, but Trabzonspor would score one more goal to claim the win.

Arijan Ademi started in defensive midfield for Dinamo Zagreb and played the complete encounter. Ademi nearly scored a goal in the 23rd minute, but his effort was cleared off the line by an opposing player.

Agim Ibraimi played the entire game for Maribor in their disappointing loss versus Rudar. Ibraimi created two chances in the 19th and 53rd minute, but he could not beat the keeper. Agim also received a yellow card in the 83rd minute.

Aleksandar Stankov began the game on the bench for Viborg before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to substitute Elson Hooi, while his teammate and twin brother, Antonio Stankov, was introduced in the 80th minute to take the spot of Sebastian Andersen. Aleksandar nearly managed a goal in the 75th minute, but his effort struck the post.

Daniel Georgievski played all 90 minutes for Melbourne Victory who defeated Brisbane Roar for the second time in four days. This win basically clinched Melbourne Victory the regular season title.

Uros Matic was an unused substitute for NAC Breda, while his teammate Aleksandar Damchevski remained outside of the squad due to a long-term knee injury.

Adis Jahovic played the entire game for Krylia Sovetov and also received a yellow card in the 85th minute. Krylia Sovetov scored the lone goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute when substitute Sergei Kornilenko sent his header past the Gazovik keeper.

Vladica Brdarovski played all 90 minutes for Győr in the slim road defeat against MTK Budapest.

Ostoja Stjepanovic was an unused substitute for Wisła Kraków. Stjepanovic is still waiting for a chance to play for Wisła Kraków’s first team following his torn ACL. However, that hasn’t happened so far as this was the third consecutive match in which he stayed on the bench.

Krste Velkoski opened on the bench for Sarajevo before he was introduced in the 63rd minute to replace Edin Rustemović. Sarajevo dropped two more points as their fans have become hostile to the players. There were insulting banners aimed at the players during the game, and things will not get better after this result.

Mario Gjurovski played the entire game for Muangthong United who made easy work of Songkhla United in the league cup. Gjurovski collected the assist on the second goal when he chested down a ball to set up one of his teammates.

Darko Tasevski started for Bangkok Glass and played until the 67th minute when he was substituted by Leandro Oliveira. Tasevski picked up the assist on the opening goal in the 5th minute when he played a good through ball.

Borche Manevski played from the start for Chainat who was eliminated from the league cup in Thailand. After not playing for a while, Manevski looked rusty out there and failed to threaten the opponent’s goal.

Aco Stojkov started in attack for Skenderbeu and played until the 55th minute when he was replaced by Leonit Bazi. Skenderbeu needed a late goal in the 84th minute to maintain its spot at the top of the table.

Darko Tofiloski returned to the Košice squad and started in goal against DAC Dunajská Streda. In the 52nd minute, with his team leading 0:1, Tofiloski conceded an equalizer on a shot from inside the area.

Daniel Avramovski was not included in the 18 player matchday squad by Crvena Zvezda, while Tome Kitanovski was not available for Voždovac due to a red card suspension.

Veliche Shumulikoski was an unused substitute for Slovácko.

South Korea, K-League Classic, Busan – Jeonnam 0:2
Stevica Ristic played all 90 minutes for Jeonnam and scored what proved to be the game winning goal in the 67th minute. Ristic sent a shot into an empty net after being set up nicely by one of his teammates.

Leonard Zuta started at left-back for Häcken and played the complete match. Zuta also received a yellow card in the 90th minute.

Dushan Savic played the entire game for Zhetysu who conceded one goal in each half to suffer the road loss against Aktobe. After eight rounds this season, Zhetysu currently sits in last place with only three points.

Filip Timov opened on the bench for Banants before he was introduced in the 37th minute to replace the injured Valter Poghosyan. His team suffered a heavy, high scoring home defeat against Shirak.
