Goalkeeper Darko Tofiloski started for Košice in Saturday’s 1:1 draw against DAC Dunajská Streda.

Darko Tofiloski has had a very bizarre 2015. His rumored transfer to French side Tours fell through this past winter, and then there was little information about his club status.

Košice registered him for the 2nd half of the Slovak season, but he was not with the team since Darko was not willing to sign a new contract. As a matter of fact, prior to today, Košice had played seven leagues games in the 2nd half, and Tofiloski was not included in any of those matchday squads. Instead, Tofiloski was training on his own in his hometown of Prilep, even posting photos from there last week on Facebook. He was supposedly seeking a new challenge, but nothing materialized.

So, on Saturday, there was Tofiloski in the starting lineup for Košice. He played the complete match and conceded one goal in the 52nd minute. Košice would draw 1:1 versus DAC Dunajská Streda.
