Vojvodina manager wants to keep Mojsov

The Vojvodina manager held a press conference about the conclusion of the first half of the season and mentioned that six players must not be sold in January, one of them being Daniel Mojsov.

In today’s press conference marking the end of the first half of the season, Vojvodina manager Dejan Vukićević recapped the season thus far and talked about his expectations for the future.  Vukićević mentioned the importance of Vojvodina keeping their core players and singled out six players that must not be sold during the winter transfer window.  Those six players were Daniel Mojsov, Branislav Trajković, Slobodan Medojević, Miroslav Stevanović, Giorgi Merebashvili, and Aboubakar Oumarou.

Despite the statements of the manager, Vojvodina is expected to sell Mojsov in January.  Daniel has a contract until the summer of 2012 and selling him in January will be the last opportunity for Vojvodina to cash in on Mojsov.  Daniel is unlikely to extend his contract and we already reported about the interest in Mojsov from Russian clubs Dynamo Moskva and Spartak Moskva.

The Vojvodina players will be off for the next month before preparations for the second half of the season will begin on 16 January.  The team will train in both Novi Sad and Budva for several weeks before Vojvodina will then spend part of their preparations in Antalya, Turkey from 5 to 20 February.
