Mile Sterjovski of Perth Glory; photo: nibstadium.com.auMile Sterjovski eventually came back after the injury and played in two games for Perth Glory, Ben Kantarovski had another two defeats with his Newcastle Jets, while Billy Celeski had good performances but yet played two draws.

A-League | Round 7

Wellington Phoenix – Adelaide United 1:1
Spase Dilevski once again had solid display on the thought away trip in New Zealand against Phoenix. Adelaide got a draw despite beeing a weeker side, while Dilevski was pretty good in his defensive play helping his team to avoid loss. Dilevski played the whole match and also got a yellow card in the 33th minute of  this game.

Newcastle Jets – Brisbane Roar 1:2
Benjamin “Ben” Kantarovski played the whole match for his side but his team lost again, this time by the strongest team in the league, Brisbane. Newcastle took the lead just before the half time, but in the second half Brisbane showed why they are in a row of 35 games without loss. Ben Kantarovski as always had a solid display in the midfield and he also got a yellow card in the 5th minute.

Sydney FC – Central Coast Mariners 2:3
Ivan Necevski was again the second goalkeeper for Sydney and was on the bench the whole game in which in probably the most exiting game his team Sydney lost against the strong team Central Coast Mariners.

Gold Coast United – Melbourne Heart 1:2
Melbourne Heart got all 3 points on a very hard game at Gold Coast. Kliment Tasevski is still out because of a long term injury and it is unknown when we should expect him back in the squad.

Melbourne Victory – Perth Glory 2:2
Blagoja “Billy” Celeski played the whole match and gave a solid display for his team, but it wasn’t enough for his team to win the game, despite they were a big favourite and played 55 minutes with one man more as Liam Miller earned a red card in the 36th minute of the game. Melbourne took the lead with the goals in 53th minute by a penalty and 5 minutes later, while Perth Glory scored in 71 th minute and Shane Smeltz, one of the best attackers in the league in the past few years, scored a late goal in the 87th minute for a draw.
Mile Sterjovski played the first 45 minutes of this game and gave an average performances for his team. As a victim of the tactics due to the red card for his team he was replaced just before the half time.

A-League | Round 6

Adelaide United – Gold Coast United 2:1
Spase Dilevski played a small impact in Adelaide’s win against the solid Gold Coast side. Dilevski played only 11 minutes. He replaced the striker Bruce Djite in the 79th minute, 10 minutes after Adelaide took the lead and had a solid defensive performances.

Melbourne Heart – Newcastle Jets 3:0
Kliment Tasevski‘s team Melbourne Heart managed to reach their first win in the championship, after they crashed Ben Kantarovski’s team of Newcastle. Once again Kliment Tasevski was on the list on long term injuries and it is still unknown when he will be back in the squad.
Benjamin “Ben” Kantarovski after he missed the game last round due to an injury, this time he was on the bench, and played the last 10 minutes in the game when it was known who will be the winner. Kantarovski replaced the former Socceroo Kassey Wehrman who had a pretty poor performances on this game.

Central Coast Mariners – Melbourne Victory 0:0
Blagoja “Billy” Celeski played 75 mins in Victory’s lucky draw against the Mariners. This was his first start in the first 11 this season where he took the place of Harry Kewell due to an absence because the number one star in the league was with Australian team on an international duties.

Perth Glory – Sydney FC 0:1
Sydney FC got a lucky 3 pointer from this game, after they were forced to park the bus in front of their goal since they scored the opener. Ivan Necevski was again on the bench as a number 2 choice for the goalkeeping position after teammate Liam Reddy who had very good performances on this match and got the man of the match award.
Mile Sterjovski played the first 35 minutes this season after recovering from the injury. From what we could have see, it is obvious that Sterjovski is far from the form that used to have two seasons ago when he was probably the best player in the league. Normally he will need a lot work to get in a full strenght and form but, on this match he missed two 100% chances that costed Glory a loss.
