The Macedonian national team dropped down to 103rd place on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.
Macedonia once again remains below #100 on the FIFA rankings list. From number 101, Macedonia fell two places to 103. In the last month, the team had 338 points and with the latest update for the month of July how have 331 points.
Macedonia’s next match is a friendly against Lithuania on the 15th of August. Lithuania currently occupies the 90th position on the list.
For the 2014 World qualifications, where Macedonia is in Group A alongside Belgium, Croatia, Scotland, Serbia and Wales, the team is by far the lowest ranked national side. Nearest to Macedonia is Belgium who are in 53rd place. Scotland follows in the 49th position, Wales is next at #38, Serbia is one place higher while Croatia is the highest ranked team in the group as they are currently 8th.
Spain remains on the top of the list, having won the EURO 2012, Germany is second while Uruguay is now in third place. Italy returned to the top 10, while Brazil currently sits in their lowest position since the inception of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings.
