The rumors are getting louder at a possible exchange between Inter and Napoli involving Goran Pandev and Andrea Ranocchia moving to Naples for Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Goran Pandev is currently on a one year loan at Napoli but he is still under contract with Inter. Due to his good form, especially in the past couple of months, Napoli’s board are strongly considering purchasing Pandev outright in the summer transfer period. However, it seems Inter wants to use that opportunity to grab the talented Argentinian attacker from Napoli, Ezequiel Lavezzi.
According to reports in the Italian media, Inter is willing to exchange Pandev for Lavezzi but will also have to add the young defender Andrea Ranocchia since Lavezzi is two years younger than Pandev and is valued more on the transfer market. The rumor has upset some Inter fans who don’t want to lose Ranocchia but Inter’s president Massimo Moratti will have the final word and a team must give up some good pieces in order to get a quality player like Lavezzi.
Whether this exchange between Inter and Napoli comes true will be known in the summer at the earlier. The winter transfer window has already ended in Italy so such a deal can’t occur at the present moment. In the past, on several occasions, Pandev has declared that he wants to stay with Napoli so he would welcome such an exchange between the two Italian clubs.
