After Filip Despotovski was not offered a contract by Aktobe, he went on trial to another Kazakh side in Kairat.

Filip Despotovski showed up to Kairat training today and played in a friendly between Kairat and Gomel from Belarus.  Gomel recorded a minimal 1:0 victory with a goal in the 50th minute as Despotovski played the 1st half for the losing side.

Kairat is currently in Turkey for their winter preparations so after Despotovski was not offered a contract by Aktobe, he quickly joined Kairat training for another trial.  Kairat finished in 11th place out of 12 teams in the Kazakh top division last season and barely avoided relegation.
