Veteran defender Igor Stojanov signed a deal to rejoin his hometown club of Bregalnica Stip.
Igor Stojanov (35) has returned to his home club of Bregalnica Stip. The experienced defender was a member of Rabotnicki at the beginning of the season but only played in 5 league games due to an injury that he sustained during Rabotnicki’s match against Anorthosis in the UEFA Europa League. He has now joined Bregalnica where Stojanov will bring experience and provide leadership to a young squad. Besides Igor, former Macedonian Under19 national team player Ivan Ivanov has also joined the club from Stip as well, Makedonski Sport reported. Ivanov was once a member of Vardar, then moved to Lokomotiva in the second division, before signing with Bregalnica.
