Midfielder Mile Krstev has decided to extend his contract with Metalurg for three additional years.
Six months before the expiration of his contract, Mile Krstev has opted to re-sign with Metalurg for three more years, thus putting an end to speculation that he was going to leave the club. Krstev is one of Metalurg’s key players and currently serves as the club captain. He has been with Metalurg for the past three years and has scored four goals with three assists in league play this season. The 32-year-old Krstev formerly played for the Macedonian national team after spending around 10 years in the Netherlands during his playing career before returning to Macedonia.
In other news from Metalurg, veteran midfielder Srgjan Zaharievski is now part of Metalurg’s coaching staff. He will be a coach in the youth categories of the club but will also remain a player as well.
