Unlike all other football leagues, the Macedonian Super Cup was played during the 6th round of the Macedonian First League. The president of the Macedonian Football Federation used the league match between last year's champion and cup winner to give the champions trophy to Pobeda.
Because of the well known problems in the Macedonian Football Federation during the past few months, the Super Cup wasn't organized before the start of the new season. That's why the president Haralampie Hadzi-Risteski had to wait for the 6th round of the Macedonian First League when the champion Pobeda hosted last year's cup winner Vardar, so the trophy can be handled to Pobeda's players. The visitors on the "Goce Delcev" stadium in Prilep were able to see very interesting match with many good chances on both sides, but still the unofficial Macedonian Super Cup ended with a goalless draw.
Current leaders Milano and Rabotnicki kept the lead after their Saturday matches. Brando scored twice and Sali the third goal for Milano, while Naumovski scored the only goal for Napredok. Rabotnicki easier than expected defeated Sileks on the "Gradski" stadium in Skopje. Nedjipi and Trickovski both scored twice for Rabotnicki and Aksentiev only lowered the defeat for Sileks in the last minutes of the match.
Pelister proved that Makedonija's is not invincible on their ground in Gjorce Petrov. With great performance they outplayed the hosts and with the goals by Momirovski and Todorovski, Pelister took the 3 points to Bitola.
Bashkimi defeated Shkendija with the early goal scored by the young talent Bunjamin Shabani, while Renova as expected, defeated Cementarnica with the goals by Bekiri and Gjurcevski.
