Ilijoski, Stojkov, Georgievski on target for new clubs

Besides Mirko Ivanovski, several other Macedonian internationals in Bazhe Ilijoski, Aco Stojkov and Slavcho Georgievski scored their first league goals for their respective new clubs.

Bazhe Ilijoski scored his first league goal for Rapid București in the sixth round of the Romanian season.  Ilijoski changed his jersey number from #9 to #88 but returned to the starting lineup after a tough week in which he supposedly swore at the Rapid manager in the previous game.  Ilijoski denied those reports, saying he was just trying to get himself fired up after a slow start to the season.  In yesterday’s game between Rapid and CFR Club, Ilijoski scored his goal in the 48th minute.  Rapid trailed 0:2 at halftime but came back after the break to collect a 3:2 victory.

In Iran, Aco Stojkov was on target for Zob Ahan, also in the sixth round of the 2012/13 season.  Aco played the first half for Zob Ahan and scored his goal in the 14th minute after a goalkeeping blunder.  Zob Ahan won 3:1 to collect its first three points of the season after having lost the first five games of the season.
