Vardar easily got past Teteks 4:0 to complete the third round of the Macedonian First League.
Vardar – Teteks was the lone remaining match of the round after the start of kick off was pushed back by FFM to become a night game. Vardar rebounded nicely from the surprising defeat in Kichevo against Napredok in the last round to defeat Teteks 4:0.
With two goals in each half, Vardar won its second game of the season to give itself 6 points, trailing only Horizont Turnovo by just a point.
Striker Jovan Kostovski opened the scoring in the 17th minute, while newcomer Dragan Gjorgiev doubled Vardar’s lead to make it 2:0 at halftime. Another summer signing in Spaniard Jorge Gimenez scored the third Vardar goal in the 59th minute while Igor Stojaković completed the 4:0 scoreline in the 85th minute.
Yesterday and earlier today, the remaining 5 matches of Round 3 took place.
